Business Owner FAQ

Are you a Utah business owner? Here are plain answers to frequently asked questions about listing management, claims, and data sourcing on Greater Utah.

Q: How did my business get listed on Greater Utah?

We compile basic local guide data from safe, public directories (such as active state corporate registries and municipal business license lists) as well as manual local research. Our goal is to create a complete regional directory for residents.

Q: What is the difference between “Unclaimed” and “Verified” listings?

An **Unclaimed** listing shows basic factual public data. A **Verified** listing has been claimed by the verified owner. Once claimed, the owner gains a “Verified” trust badge and can update business details, operating hours, tags, and photos.

Q: How do I claim my business listing?

Search for your business in the directory. Open your listing card and click the prominent **”Claim This Listing”** button. Complete the short claim form by providing your contact info and business verification details. Our team manually approves claims within 2-3 business days.

Q: Can I remove my business listing from the directory?

Yes. We respect your choices. You do not need to claim your listing to request removal. Email us directly at support@greaterutah.com with your business name and listing URL. Our team will remove the page within 24 hours.

Q: Are there any hidden fees for verification?

No. Standard listing claims and verifications are entirely free. We offer paid featured sponsorships for businesses that want maximum category exposure, but free profiles never expire.
