Setting Up Utilities in Utah
Depending on your municipal county or city, electric, gas, water, and trash services are either managed directly by the city or through major private utilities:

Registering Your Vehicle & Driver License
New residents have 60 days to register vehicles and obtain a Utah Driver License:
- Driver License Division (DLD): Visit an official DLD location to take a written exam, vision screening, and transfer your license.
- Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV): Requires safety/emissions certificates (in select counties like Salt Lake and Davis) to obtain license plates.
